# How to Connect LiveMap to RocketCAD

LiveMap is an essential dispatching function for your community! RocketCAD features the ability to redirect your users to your LiveMap URL directly from their Dispatch CAD.

### How to Create a LiveMap

We recommend [Havoc's LiveMap from the FiveM Forums](https://forum.cfx.re/t/release-livemap/49901). Please refer to his [installation documentation here](https://docs.tgrhavoc.co.uk/livemap-interface/) for guidance.

### How to Link LiveMap with RocketCAD

Once you have successfully created your LiveMap and have the URL ready (such as livemap.domain.com) you're ready to insert it into RocketCAD!

1. Navigate to the [Owner Panel](https://therocketcad.com/amc) > CAD Settings & Data tab
2. Toggle the "LIVE MAP BUTTON VISIBLE?" button to the on position
3. Paste in the URL of your LiveMap
4. Click Save

Now your Dispatchers will be redirected to your LiveMap URL after logging into their CAD!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.therocketcad.com/walkthrough/owners/how-to-connect-livemap-to-rocketcad.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
